Great eating at onsite restaurant Shrimpies. If you are traveling on i45

For what it this place IS, though, I'll come back in a heartbeat and would recommend that others who are working traveling jobs like I do check it out as well. Bring some way of getting the internet access that you need for work or entertainment, bring your own TV source if that's how you spend your time, and be ready to get kicked out if you misbehave. This is a great place to stay and will absolutely get better and better as time goes on.

Give it a try!

Be aware of what this park does NOT have. There is no pool, there is no TV, there is no silly gimmick. There are laundry facilities, but as of the time of this writing, the washing machines don't work well at all. Honestly, unless you check it out and see brand new machines in place of the ones I put my money into, I'd say you'd be better off driving into town. The on-site bathroom and shower at the laundry facility appears to be brand-new, and the manager is constantly fixing and improving the park EVERY DAY. There is free WIFI internet, but thanks to kids abusing it for streaming video, you're lucky if you can download your email. Again, this is bound to improve.

I've been staying at this park for a few weeks now while working a project in the area. This deserves mentioning because I'm not here as a vacationer, and my requirements might be very different from somebody who is looking for a place to stay with more entertainment intent. I was told about this park by a co-worker friend who said it's quiet, it's safe, and the price is reasonable. I have found this to be 100% accurate. The people managing the park are very kind and helpful, but tolerate no nonsense from rowdy guests and will remove anyone who creates a problem for anyone else. The lot rent is about average for the region, and they offer both shaded and non-shaded spots for people with a preference. They have a restaurant on-site that evidently has really good seafood (not a seafood fan, but I'm told by others it's pretty dang good.) Access from the highway is pretty easy, and there are grocery/shopping options a reasonable distance away.

I stayed here about 8 months to find out the owner is an achoholic his son who stays there in the park is a registered sex offender and bathrooms were always dirty and to top it all off they could never get the drinking water up to standards! I'm so glad my wife is being transferd so I can get my kids out of this hell hole!

Nothing fancy, level gravel sites, mostly full timers, but very friendly folks!

freindly staff. great food

We stayed one night. The staff was very friendly. There is a yard dog that runs freely about the park which causes all other animals to become noisy. As we walked our dogs it was quite clear that no one seems to pick up after their animal does their duty which was a little disappointing. You couldn't sit outside to enjoy the nice evening due to the smell lingering which we found out later it was from a mushroom plant nearby. Bathroom/showers were not the greatest. It is good for a no frill one night stay.
