Four of us stopped in for lunch on Thursday. The special was "chicken fried Steak" and it really was special. Fresh not frozen and cooked to order. Vegetables and rolls were very tasty. Ended it with homemade peach cobbler topped with ice cream. We spent a week in Texas touring and this was the best meal we had. It would be worth a side trip to enjoy this small town Cafe and atomsphere. Our wives also found some antiques across the street. It doesn't get any more Texan than this.
You'll feel like family here! Be sure to stay for Blue Bell ice cream after your meal. Comfort food.... friendly service.... small town feel. Check it out.
